Sustainable palm oil
Lujos supports the practice of only purchasing palm oil from sustainable sources. The palm oil used in our soap comes from a corporation that is a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). They do not develop plantations on land classified as High Conservation Value Forest, and they are one of only 15 plantation operators voluntarily testing RSPO sustainability criteria. They are also working with Fauna and Flora International to protect and monitor orangutan populations as well as protecting the last remaining habitat for the rare Queen Alexandra Birdwing Butterfly.
